Need help with tata aig medicare insurance policy

Hello guys,

I have bought tata aig medicare insurance policy for my parents . I have paid around 35k for both of my parents ,now I noticed that Mother's date of birth is wrongly added into it,not entirely wrong previously it was entered as 03/03/1975,but now this needs to change as 03/04/1975 only month needs to be changed. I have mailed to customer care they are asking additional 4600 for changing, any help/suggestions to reduce this

You can full refund within 15 days of policy issuance.
Also charging for dob is wrong as you are obliged to give correct info and they can't issue you a policy on wrong I'd n dob.

yeah but its been 6 months already , I currently escalated to reduce amount I am not sure they are going to do , for one month change they are asking nearly 5k

yeah escalated to tata aig next level now and will be going to escalate it to irda as per tata response
