Need help with Trip Planning: Kodaikanal, Coonoor

Hi, We plan to visit Coimbatore in start of November and we have thought of the itinerary as follows:
-Land in Coimbatore and take a traveller to Kodaikanal and stay in Kodaikanal for 3 nights
-Take the traveller from Kodaikanal to Coonoor and stay in Coonoor for 3 nights and visit Ooty for a day's trip
-Return flight from Coimbatore (Booked all flights using Vistara (Magnus points) + Air India points (SBI Air India Signature points) + Infinia Points using Smartbuy)

Summary:
-Destinations: Kodaikanal, Coonoor
-No of Pax: 13 (with 2 kids <6 yrs)

Help requested:
-Good hotels / villa recommendations in Kodaikanal (in Coonoor, we have a friend's villa, so no challenges in Coonoor)
-Recommended places to cover
