Called customer care to ask about the annual fees of this card....now they say the annual fees is 599 plus gst...Ya, i already told you. Just call ICICI bank and apply RuPay debit card (no need to tell them platinum, by default you will get platinum variant). Customer care also dnt know this is RuPay Platinum debit card. Just apply the RuPay debit card.
Annual charges Rs220 fees (no issuance charges), No where mentioned on ICICI bank website. Just relax and apply. Here, all of us have been using the ICICI RuPay Platinum debit card for the past 6-7 years, and everyone is charged the same fees (Earlier ICICI charge Rs177 but now hike to Rs220). ICICI recently sent a notification about this ₹220 hike; it was forgotten somewhere. Just relax and apply, only ₹220 will be deducted annually.
RuPay Coral Platinum Debit Card charge - 599 plus gstCalled customer care to ask about the annual fees of this card....now they say the annual fees is 599 plus gst...
abb isko lekar kya fayda?RuPay Coral Platinum Debit Card charge - 599 plus gst
Normal RuPay Platinum Debit Card charge - 300 plus gst (recently ICICI increased all platinum card network charges - Visa/Master/RuPay)
Salary account - RuPay Platinum Debit Card is lifetime free.
The other ICICI support staff keep saying all kinds of confusing/wrong things — ignore them. Just check which card variant they applied; the charges will be applied according to that.
There’s no benefit in keeping Visa or Master either (But there are some higher variants — I think the Wealth ones — that offer lounge access on Visa or Mastercard, so you can go for those).abb isko lekar kya fayda?
Actually mine is Rupay Gold Platinum DC which is due for annual fees and both the customer care representative as well as the Branch personel confirmed it is showing as rupay chip international credit card in their systems which has an annual fees of 599 plus gst...RuPay Coral Platinum Debit Card charge - 599 plus gst

Ya, here latest info -So it is 354 and they are wrong?
another question if u are aware about this, the chip on my card has formed some rust and now it is not working on the atmsYa, here latest info -
Recently, some people were charged annually ₹300 + GST — I had read about it somewhere in technofino comment section too.
Earlier, it used to be ₹150 + GST, then it increased to ₹200 + GST, and after that to ₹300 + GST.
Note: There are actually no issuance charges on ICICI RuPay Platinum debit cards because ICICI Bank simply deducts ₹150/₹200+ GST (now ₹300 + GST) annually — regardless of the card network — for any normal platinum debit card.

Bro, earlier we used to apply for a new card, and the old RuPay/Visa card would automatically get closed after using the new RuPay card for the first time.another question if u are aware about this, the chip on my card has formed some rust and now it is not working on the atms
If I close this card before the annual fees gets charged....will the fees still get charged?
I have heard some ppl saying that they have been charged after closing their debit cards
I asked them to issue Visa Titanium DC but these fools are saying downgrade is not possible...🤦♂️Bro, earlier we used to apply for a new card, and the old RuPay/Visa card would automatically get closed after using the new RuPay card for the first time.
There were no issuance charges — only the annual debit card fee gets deducted every year in June month that’s because I had opened my ICICI Bank account in the month of June.
It probably still works the same way even now.
Check your bank account statements — see which month they deduct the debit card annual fee every year.
I think this is bank specific. I know BoB doesn't charge, but have heard people getting charged for other bank DCs.another question if u are aware about this, the chip on my card has formed some rust and now it is not working on the atms
