Hi all need your help me with my issue
here is my story :
I applied for SBI cash back card , got scammed by their customer care agent, got simpliclick instead of cashback . so used simpliclick for around 3 months and then applied cash back again . This time card was approved and when limit transfer was taking place from simpliclick to cash back my simpliclick went into overdue and got blocked and cashback card was declined . (no customer care said the limit should be available in the card which they are transferring the limit from )
I paid the dues then and mailed nodal officer and escalated the issue to customer team to reprocess the application. I got only automated response and not even why the card was declined and no proper resolution was provided .
Hence I decided to close the existing simpliclick card and placed closure request (my sole purpose of using this card was that I can get cash back card easily if I use this card frequently . this was also told by customer team only ).
Credit card retention team called me and asked the reason for closing of card . I told them the entire story and asked them to process both the cards or else close my existing card also .
the executive mentioned she will be raising a complaint and resolution will be provided .
After few days the card was not closed but
the request was closed and said resolution was provided . I got a mail mentioning the reason for the decline of cashback card .

Can I raise an complaint in RBI portal against this issue . I read recently if card closure request was not addressed in 7 days we can get compensation of 500 rs and card will be provided . I want my existing simpliclick card to be closed .
I don't want to connect with sbi customer team for card closure.
please share your suggestion on how should I proceed further .

Trying to transfer an exhausted limit is like trying to buy a pizza with the memory of the money you once had. You can’t just call up customer care and say, ‘Hey, I used to have 100 rupees, so can I transfer that again even though I already spent 50?’ That’s not how it works, my friend!😂
