New section/category suggestion for the TF community

Dear TF mods,

I have recently joined TF community, however even before joining I have extensively browsed 100s of threads in last few months. It's a very active community and most importantly members here focus on helping each other rather than trolling/bashing/scamming/spamming. After browsing the forum extensively, I have suggestions for 2 sections/categories that can be added to the forum for the benefit of TF community considering majority of members as salaried professionals:

1. Salary discussions
2. Job discussions (experience; domains; opportunities-India, abroad, remote; referrals; freelancing)

Point 1 seems to be viable but don't think 2nd one also. Bcs after that all those things which u mentioned "excluded" will came in existence.

1 - we discuss salary but only through which best salary account which gonna serve the purpose

2- job discussion - too much for moderation,leads to frauds sometimes.
who gonna handle that

It's a good suggestion but won't fit in 🌝

It would more of hit and miss thread cause not everyone would discuss on several things so we can look into and discuss if it relevant or not cause discussing on best salary account for cc and dc make logical decisions not sure 🤔 beyond that.

Yeah, the idea is great in theory but we live in a sad world and I wouldn't want some innocent passout to get involved in some job related scam. However a seperate section can be created as an aggregator for (good) postings on other public platforms (no[t much] moderation needed). I want to include job referrals by existing emoloyees but that would be too much moderation.

Salaries seem out of scope if you ask me.

Yes, TF moderators and community can start by having a separate section for job experience discussion and also for posting new opportunities from their companies or others, opportunities that are not easily available on other platforms. It won't require much effort in terms of moderation. Based on the kind of traction, moderators can decide whether to expand the section or not.

I have been part of a lot of communities/forums since last 15 years and very few have positive vibe as the TF community has. And I guess this positive vibe will continue whenever the community expands to newer sections.
