No cost EMi Trick not working offline store in pinelab swipe machine

recently i visited reliance digital and croma to buy s24 ultra 256 gb.

there is brand offer with hdfc credit card 24 month no cost emi.

they offer final price is 101994

so i swiped my card with 24 month no cost emi but instead of loan amount ( full amount - interest discount )= 87648 they deduct full amount 101994

so my question is like online will i not get interest as instant discount in offline stores pinelab machine?

so how can i use no cost Emi trick in offline store if they deduct full amount?

anyone tried no cost emi trick in pinelab swipe machine?

they are not giving interest as discount during swipe.

Wait for 2-3 days, let the emi be converted, it will show the loan amount as 87,648 only in mycards then you can close it.

Hey guys,

So I made a flight booking of Rs. 32,594 on Makemytrip. This was a 3 months no cost emi.

Now generally in the case of no cost emi, the emi amount is given as a upfront discount althought with this transaction It said it will be reversed as cashback in 21 days to the card account.

The cashback amount : 818

Total transaction amount : 32,594

Now, on my first statement I was charged :
Principal amount : 10,460.70
Interest : 519.42

Now I reached out to hdfc to clarify this and they tell me that they have applied the cashback of 818 and reduced the total amount to 31,776

Wait for 2-3 days, let the emi be converted, it will show the loan amount as 87,648 only in mycards then you can close it.

I think interest should be given as instant discount. What if bank convert emi of full amount?

I had purchased my s24 ultra from bajaj electronics, initially the amount before the interest discount was charges on the card then emi was converted for the discount amount only.

Mene last month ki thi flipkart ki band, koi charge ni laga.

I recently bought mobile offline. Called today to cancel and it was accepted. Customer care said processing fee of 199/- will be reversed also, but GST on processing fees will not be reversed (ideally it should because I am not availing the service). Saved around 1100 rupees by this. Although I think I won't get points.
