No need of HDFC MAB for Savings Max?

Don't trust app, official product feature says you have to maintain 25K. You can refer website as well.

I have a salary account with HDFC. If I open Savings max along with it will I get millennia debit card without any charges. Also can I open it online or have to visit branch as I already have salary account with them.

I think when you open a new account in HDFC, initially it will be zero balance for a certain period I think. @varun__goel_ can you confirm it, pls?

It must be a shortcoming of flawed execution, as your balance is above 25k there is no shortfall for MAB. Does it show please maintain average balance in your account if the amount is less than 25k?
