No transaction alert via either SMS or Email for my new IDFC Credit Card

I did the first-ever transaction using my IDFC FIRST Bank Classic credit card just now for around ₹70, but strangely I haven't received any transaction alert for it via either SMS or email. No issues with transaction OTP thru SMS though.

To test if the alerts are working, I disabled ATM and contactless transactions, and received the confirmation alerts for both on both email as well as SMS.

So, why the alert wasn't sent for the actual transaction? It's really weird.

Is there any other IDFC FIRST Bank credit card user experiencing the same issue lately?

I received SMS for my Jiorecharge done using Axis cc on 12th yesterday. I almost freaked thinking about unauthorized access.

SMS can take time in mins, hours and days. It depends on the bank system, mobile carrier, phone having signal etc. You should wait for the SMS.
