No way to apply IDFC First Wow Card - Query & Discussion

Hello folks,

I am already an existing customer of IDFC having a SB account since last month. Since then, I have successfully created a FD of Rs. 20000 (auto renewal on) so that I can apply for first wow card.

While applying for the card from the wow card page, it takes my name, DOB, mobile no. , OTP, PAN, income, address, etc as input and then farts out a completely unrelated bunch of cards which I absolutely don't need. Now there is no link/URL to apply for wow card via mobile app or IB.

Has anyone here faced this situation? If yes, how did you manage to apply?

As you mentioned you’ve bank account, there will be credit card section and wow card there. Try that. BTW what unsecured cards they are showing?

You're overqualified for the WOW Card, which is why they're offering you unsecured cards instead.
Also, the WOW Card now comes with a new feature—they're offering 200% of your FD amount as the credit limit.

I currently have a WOW Card backed by a ₹5K FD, but now I have over ₹1.5L in FDs with IDFC and want to link those. Currently, my 5K FD shows Liened and other FDs as Joint Regular and Regular.

What is minimum FD amount to get 200% credit limit? Do we have to create a FD while applying WOW Card or we can use existing FD to get 200% credit limit?

If we get Wow Card then what are chances of getting unsecured IDFC credit card in the future?

The 4 unsecured cards are SWYP, First Power+, Ashva and First Millennia.

You're overqualified for the WOW Card, which is why they're offering you unsecured cards instead.
Also, the WOW Card now comes with a new feature—they're offering 200% of your FD amount as the credit limit.

Tried with multiple denomination in the past always got 100%, may be based on profile. Not sure exactly.

No chances of you're in Non Serviceable location. But chances are there if you're in Serviceable location

I guess SR can be raised by RM or by CS executive. Have you tried either of it??

Get the First Millenia after that, and you will get the option. I shared the SS from my dad's account. He holds Wealth, he got the Wow card offer after holding Wealth.

As you have raised SR just wait for a day or two. If no resolutions comes up you can chose Millennia first and later on you can go for WOW.

Not Sure. I shared the SS from my Dad's account, and Mom also has the same offer. Both have more than 70K(each) in FD with IDFC.

Do we have to create a FD while applying WOW Card or we can use existing FD to get 200% credit limit?

New ones are getting the offer. I am an existing Wow card holder not getting the 200% limit.

If we get Wow Card then what are chances of getting unsecured IDFC credit card in the future?

I am sharing my history with IDFC: (WOW Card) May 2023 only this was available -> SB Account 25KMAB Joint July 2023 (Secondary Holder) -> SB Account 25KMAB Joint October 2023 (Primary) -> Applied Via CashKaro got IDFC Millenia/Classic without docs via C2C (Selected Millenia 1.38L)-> SB Account 25KMAB May 2024 -> First Select Account Conversion on 14th June 2024 -> Called the CC asked for Select Card as I was pre-qualified instantly request taken card generated within few hours
I only spend Rs130 using my Millenia Card before the upgrade.
Also, got a new single account for my mother...
