Not approving credit card after delivery of it.

Recently I have applied Tata Neu Plus credit card in TATA NEU app and i received the card. But later when I try to do transaction with it the payment got declined. So when I contacted the HDFC Bank they said the card was accidentally sent to you as you already have an HDFC money back plus credit card you cannot have this credit card so this card was blocked for that reason. I don't know why this bank first approved my application and sent me this card and then again blocking it after its delivery. What a nonsense is happening.

When you have received the card ? Therafter how many days have you tried to do the first transaction ?

If everything is within time frame of less than 30 days...then escalte you concern with HDFC team at
"Grievance.Redressalcc@hdfcbank.com".
May be you will get better inputs on this..

Tata Neu is a co branded card, therefore people holding existing HDFC card can still apply. I have seen many people posting in TF who have more than one HDFC card. Send an email to Grievance.Redressalcc@hdfcbank.com and hope for the best.

thats bs, i got infinity variant as a floater to my millennia, ig you need atleast 1.5L limit to get it as a floater. Contact RBI ombudsman if Grievance.Redressalcc@hdfcbank.com doesn't reply before 30 days are lapsed since the delivery of card.

If hdfc then

For first card, don't spend for a week, you will get ltf offer.

For second card if you got without documentation, spend how much you can if you get e soft copy before the delivery

HDFC is out to show all the PSBs in a great light! From my earlier experience related to Millenia cashpoints, I'd suggest don't waste a lot of time with Grievance Redressal CC. Just mail them once, and if the issue is not resolved, go to Nodal Officer/Principal Nodal Officer. Also write to the HDFC Social media pages on Facebook and Twitter.
