I did for 50k during AUG 15th offer of extra 7.5 points than normal rewards in SCB card but extra points still on the way.
Use cards during multiple offers of RP for this kind of payments since its open till March 31st

If you have a high reward rate card like Magnus/ Infinia you can go for payment through CC, else net banking is best

Yes the entry into tier1 amount will be treated as ur contribution for this FY in tier 1 statement
