Once a Cash back KING ..Is AXIS ACE dead ???? What to do with it?

Credit raja

TF Select
Once "Axis Ace" was king of Cashback , everybody was trying hard to get it. With less approval rate it was kind of premiun.
This forum was filled with "Axis Ace" How to get? How got like subjects.
Once it was in the list of Best Credit Card.
But now there no "Namonishan" of axis Ace.

Is there any steam left with AXIS ACE CC or it is DEAD CARD now?
Anyone Using it For any Standout Feature?

Who said it is dead? I still recommend it as the go-to no-nonsense card for people new to CCs and ones who are not TF members or CC fans. I believe HSBC Live+, which is relatively new, is the only other that gives 1.5% CB on all online-offline spends. All other cards either reward higher in terms of reward points (NOT cashback) or limit the higher cashback to certain categories (mostly online).

The strength of Ace is its versatility. It is a like a swiss-knife - you can use it almost everywhere but obviously there will almost always be a specialized tool that will get the job done better. The question is - do you prefer having a toolbelt around your waist with a dozen specialized tools or do you want that one swiss-knife in your pocket? TF members prefer toolbelts. The average CC holder doesn't.

Yes true its now only for beginners
but .. earlier it was dear to all TF community and and CC enthusiast, which lost its place from that "Cashback KIng" position.

Ye Rs 250-500 kbse king bn gya🤣

Main USP for this card was always Utility Bill Pay; but recent addition of convenience charge by GPay is the dampener.

Most of the cards have excluded Utility spends to consider for rewards & milestone benefits, ACE may still hold value on this part.

But yes rather than 5%, we need to be happy with 4% cashback now 🙂
