I got and fd based onecard back in October, now I want to close it. But if I close it is there any chance to get one card unsecured? Currently I have HDFC, kotak credit card.

Better close it... Nothing fancy anymore in one card.... I also closed mine... 6 month old yesterday... No chance of upgrade in one card unsecured in future... If u already hold one card lite....

Oh okay, and did they try retaining by saying you would be eligible for non-secured in the future?

No.. Once u close your one card... Either fd one or unsecured.... U wont get one card again as per current policy

As per current (crazy) policy! Hope they change it, for their own good. I anyway have an unsecured one from the start, so no worries for me.
