Paid for my new Car with SBI Elite card

Recently I have booked Hyundai Verna IVT and planned to pay the amount with Credit card.
Showroom owner said I have to pay 1.5% charges.
But, Yesterday I have paid booking amount (1.25 lac without charge in good faith) with my SBI Elite card
Today paid 2 lac using Rupay card on UPI(without charge)
Will pay next 8 lac with Elite with 1.5% charges
And rest with UPI CC.

Charges I have to bear 800000*1.5%= 12000

Value back-
1) Annual fee waiver on 10 lac - 5000 rs or 20000 points
2) 10000 points on 3 lac spend
3) Another 10000 points on 4 lac spend
4) 15000 points on 5 lac
5) 15000 points on 8 lac


Total - 50000 + 20000(fee waiver) + 20000 (2 points/100 )

Making all together= 90000 points means 22500
Minus- 12000 charge
So over all 10000 profit.
With that, around 5000 Points on UPI CC.
So total around 12-13000 rs profit even after paying 1.5%

Once the transaction is settles and they see extra charge for UPI CC they might ask for extra money, becareful with that.

Most merchants just turn off credit card on UPI after seeing extra charges,
Doesn't affect previous customers,
Does affect future customers

No cap on Elite card, I have made an excel with all my cards and their reward and milestone benefits. After calculating everything, I have came up with this.
Attaching the file, you can use it for your cards as well.

You need better rewarding cards.
