Paisabazaar calling me to get Amex, is amex not getting customers?

My understanding is, these banks and businesses hire third part people like paisabazaar when they are not getting much customers or business is not doing good, I keep seeing amex trying to push their card via ads on amazon and few other places, so what do you guys think? is Amex not doing good?

The push of CCs is always there not just amex. Many don't own ccs yet and shopping sites target those with some lure of offers and/or emis.

But if you mean you are noticing an increase in amex's push it could be due to recent devaluation on referral benefits which could be stopping foot soldiers of amex.

Amex is not pushing in my opinion. Its most likely PB to get more commission.

Many don't own ccs

Yes, most of the surveys I have seen says that people prefer UPI over CC or even DC
in most of the cases 90% people like UPI more, makes me wonder if its good for CC users like us

less customers means better offers to attract new users to get CC?

on contrary more ccs means more emis etc, that can be passed to benefits for others. This is what happens in over consuming countries like USA where paying CC bill in full is a rarity.
