Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport - Transit between terminals

Hey. Does anyone here have experience with CDG? I was wondering if I can travel between terminals 2 and 1. The info available online is contradicting. I have 5 hours to burn at Terminal 2, and there are no accessible lounges here besides Yotel, which sucks. Will I be able to go to the Star Alliance lounge at T1? Thanks!

The answer is yes, you can travel between the terminals, but you will have to go through security multiple times, which is a hassle. So I personally did not do it.

Could anyone tell me if there are free lounges in Paris-CDG. I have priority pass, but it seems that the only lounge for that is in terminal 2E (Yotel Air). Our flights are from terminal 2C. I don't suppose there's a way to reach the lounge in 2E if the flight is from 2C. Dragon pass does not seem to have any lounges in Paris-CDG.
