PayTM Bait and Switch for Regalia Gold

Paytm CC Bait and Switch!

Have been following the PayTM channel for credit cards and watching people get core card through PayTM after getting a co-branded card.

I was randomly checking my offers on PayTM and saw offer for paid regalia gold. Decided to apply as I want a core HDFC card and regalia hold is a good starting point despite the fees.

As soon as I applied and for the card, my CIBIL was checked, and the next page I see it shows a FYF Freedom card? This is post application bait and switch from PayTM. I had moneyback, freedom and regalia gold offer and I chose Regalia Gold from that.

Also, now it shows that my card is ready, and as soon as I check on details I still get pointed towards regalia gold page, but when I try to complete application it shows freedom. What can I do in this case?

I think you were shown that you could apply for all these 3 cards, but after checking your Cibil, HDFC could only give Freedom to you. PayTM has nothing to do with it as HDFC did your cibil check and concluded that only Freedom can be given.

Is this Freedom card cobranded card of Paytm?
Because my Freedom card applied through Paytm got approved yesterday and I got this notification from Paytm today " Unlock the full potential of your Paytm HDFC Credit Card. Enable online transactions and enjoy a world of seamless payments".

Nope. Not a co-branded card but core card.
