In the interest of customers, the RBI on Friday gave Paytm Payments Bank Ltd (PPBL) 15 more days till March 15, 2024

Do you think this extension will continue further and save Paytm?
Or will they sort their documents and continue to function?

The shareholders' excitement continues...

Reminder to withdraw your wallet balances, though they claim they will continue the withdrawals, in a scenario where it gets suspended, it could be had to recover your money.

Obviously, it has hit 20% lower circuit back to back for multiple days.

The small merchants are scared and have been hiding their QR codes declining to accept the UPI payments.

But not to forget, no marketing is bad marketing so if all of this goes well, a lot more people will know Paytm than before.

That sounds exciting(for the extension) and scary at the same time.

Billions of dollars of valuation and then everything burnt into thin air. A lot of people are betting on VSS for a comeback, if he does, this could be the one of the biggest comebacks in the history as everyone has lost hopes by now.

Yes agree..but things are not getting cleared..paytm QA will work but account should not be from paytm ...thats the problem

Isko lifeline nhi kehte. 15 din ke liye ventilator support aur de diya. 🤣

Yeah, no access to the wallet could be troublesome but I believe they can fix things on their end or partner with another bank to make it active again.
But the question is, will they?

They have made a committee for compliance, let's see.

Also, Paytm is losing it's market share, even in Merchant category. Paytm loss is others gain, especially for Phonepay, Google Pay, Bharatpe, Airtel Payment Bank.👆

Ha same note band hua tha tab bhi aisa date badhaya tha
Waise bhi jada users nhi honge bank wale kuki new account open karne sa pehle hi rok chuka tha
 
Since we won’t be able to add money to Paytm FASTag anymore, which FASTag should we buy? Which is the best and most convenient alternative to Paytm FASTag? Based on cashbacks, offers, ease of recharge and so on? @TechnoFino please help!
