Paytm removed Tap n Pay feature using credit and debit cards?

Since the last two update tap and pay feature stopped working from all the three devices I have. I get the below error.

Anyone else facing this issue?

Yes. Paytm has stopped it seems. Today, it is clearly displaying the message as Tap to Pay is no longer supported in paytm. May be they are working a feature to support both credit card and upi tap to pay

Looks like its permanently gone other wise they would have mentioned that it's temporary and will be back.

Noticed few days back, irony is: it's displayed that our device is faulty or not compatible, instead saying we have withdrawn the feature/ facility of tap and pay (contactless payment).

Ah I think it allows only for its prepaid PayZapp wallet card.

I can also see the option to activate 2 HDFC cards apart from PayZapp wallet card but not against other bank cards

Exactly for privacy concerns, I use BHIM and have avoided other apps.

Ah right enabled Tap to Pay for HDFC Visa Freedom and Swiggy Mastercard too
