PayZapp txn succeeded without me swiping

I have payzapp and an HDFC card with swipe to pay enabled in it.
I entered my card details on a website. The app was open in my hand and I was browsing txn history. A notification came on the phone but I never saw the swipe to pay screen. The txn automatically got completed.
The customer support is treating their app as glitch-free and not accepting that this issue can ever be there.
Has anyone seen this?

I was able to redo and report it. Will raise dispute and hopefully I'll get it back.

Apparently international transactions don't need a pin or swipe. Card number, expiry and cvv is enough.
I got refund from merchant easily though.

Why didn't you mention before that it was a INTERNATIONAL transaction?🙄

Apparently international transactions don't need a pin or swipe. Card number, expiry and cvv is enough.
I got refund from merchant easily though.

Yup, For International Transactions. you don't need any extra authentication. 🙂
