POS transaction made using Rupay coral card , isn't showing up in statement

so i made a transaction on 8th december using rupay coral cc by authenticating pin and the payment showed as successful in the merchant's machine, as well as the message & email i received from icici for the transaction. it's been 4 days since then , payment isn't showing up at all in imobile app, and is not even debited from the credit limit as far as i'm able to calculate. at this point it's like the transaction was never made at all.
is it merchant's fault or the bank's fault?
should i go and pay again if the merchant calls me and asks me to, or tell him to dispute from the bank?

It'll settle itself, no need for you to intervene.

No one is at fault here. Some merchants take even 7-10 days to settle.

He won't call you as the payment is already successful. Let time take its course and be patient.
