Possible to upgrade Accor Plus from Traveller to Explorer ?

Hi,

Is it possible to upgrade the accor plus membership from 'Traveller' to 'Explorer' by paying the difference amount.
There could be 2 options :
1) Pay the difference amount & get upgraded (not sure if its possible/allowed)
2) Cancel the traveller membership (get refund) , then buy the Explorer.

Its not even a month since I bought traveller membership, haven't ulilised any of the benefits as of yet.
Any pointers would be helpful
