I can understand Pre-Jio era, that postpaid being insanely expensive than prepaid. But Even after 8+ years of Jio Sim launch, that means universalisation of Plan benefits across all the operators, still Postpaid is insanely costlier than prepaid. Offers much lower value than prepaid & let’s not forget postpaid plans charges 18% GST separately.
Simply it doesn’t make any sense except, Operators milking as much as possible from the richie rich. Please don’t try to justify it by saying “you’re paying after usage of service that’s why it’s costly”, it may be seen reasonable before this unlimited calls era but not now. It doesn’t make any difference for operators that we’re paying a month late(coz the benefits they’re offering are substantially lower than prepaid rates & also considering the size of the operators), So with less benefits that means less operating costs for operators but still they price postpaid plans insanely high.
Before judging that you never used postpaid & all so that’s you ain’t no sh*t: I was with Jio’s Postpaid for almost 2 years. After they dropped few Benefits & hiked already insanely high priced plans i changed to Prepaid
