While bank give pre approved credit card to us through call or net banking so what they really asked on that from us. Especially HDFC(because I have opened digisave youth account)

Currently I am a student with getting some earnings and allowance from parents, total 30000-35000 per month. In occupation earlier I selected student , investment income , 300000-500000 annually. But now I changed it to salaried, private, salary income, 300000-500000.

Will they ask any income source or details while giving pre - approved credit card. Will they considered this as fraud?

Please clear my confusions.

Change your account varient to savings max if you can and use the platinum debit card . This will increase your chances getting a pre-approved cc offer.
Coming to the occupation details, if they offers you a card pre-approved, 99% of the time they won't ask you any income proof.
You just put your details and they approved your application. It's that easy.

When pre-approved offers appear showing card and credit limit, they will not ask anything from you. Just simply put student while applying, you will get the card.

I updated it as salaried now , will this create any problem or should I just changed back to student ?

Don't change. You will get the card. You are just lying but not under oath. It's okay. But while applying fill out student.

First verify if the call is from official hdfc number or any third party agent. Once verified, you can tell them the same details you filled in the application.
