I'm facing same with SBI IRCTC, min 3 times in one statement.

Same for me what i believe is;
I have over payed the due amount and whatever the over paid amount is there is gets auto refunded or some stuff like that
But the problem is it gets debited and again credited back makes no sense

Can't be the refund.. I have such a posting in my current statement & it shows up like this :

For me also, it happened in the last statement..
As soon as the transaction was conducted there were dr, cr entries .. once the transaction was settled these two temporary dr ,cr will go away and the actual dr transaction will appear…
So there was some temp entries happening here may be due to some control account mechanism.. very very long time ago I studied accounts..

It will be interesting to see if there is actually Dr transaction of 49.00 in the ‘In process” tab there..
That solves the puzzle…
When it happened to me I didn’t care to look in detail

If so, can you see the another DR in “ In process “ tab with the same amount?

In my case on 8th I prepay 1500/- which got settled next day 9th.
On 10th they principal debit adjustment 961 DR and 539 DR
on same day they principal credit adjustment 1500 CR
so net no extra debit or credit for me.

Yes, I don't check the app always but noticed it in Aug on one of my card.. Again this month on Cashback Card

Spoke to customer care she said, sir don't worry about these transactions they are done in all users and these are just internal checkings being done.
Nothing to worry about as of now
But now that someone has mentioned of unnecessary spends being done as per tax POV I'm confused again

Nah I think I've spent only 1.75 lacs in 1.5 yrs of the card's life
But shouldn't it be 10 lacs, where did this figure of 5 lacs come into play?
