Punjab and sind Bank charged debit card fees on closed card

Hi ,
Guys I blocked my debit card in April month
Buy they have charged me annual fees in May month (on hotlisted card)


Need some suggestions on reversal (if possible)


How can a bank charge annual charges on closed card?

Yes ...
Mention that debit card was issued on 24.05.2023 and I hotlisted my debit card in the month of April 2024.
As issuance fee was debited in the beginning itself and I hotlisted my debit card before anniversary .
Please reverse the amc .

Write a strong mail to him/her. Also mention that you have permanently blocked the debit card before completion of 1 year and that if charges not reversed to you escalate the matter to RBI Ombudsman.
