You should be receiving 10x rp with a monthly cap of 500 points as the merchant remains the same (Amazon)

Amazon isn't 10x partner with amex smart earn. I have had multiple heated discussions with AMEX for the same. They have misinformed customers about this 5x and 10x partners as they have multiple URLs and somewhere its mentioned 5x and somewhere 10x. But ultimately I get 5x only.

Its extrenely confusing when amex support themselves don't k ow which is a 5x partner and which is a 10x partner. On 1 URL it's mentioned 5x and another one mentions 10x. Same with swiggy and Zomato also as their partners. I hv got 10x on Swiggy somehow and after that amex always refuses that it is 10x partner. They are mad.

Amex support is full of fresh graduates who can communicate, they are also becoming like any other big Indian bank.

Yes. For 1 transaction couple months back on my Smart Earn cc, I somehow got 10x points via Swiggy. I dont remember that spend was for Instamart/Dineout/Food order. But after that I didnt get 10x for swiggy on any transaction. Hence I argued with Amex support and they were clueless about how I got 10x. Acc to them Swiggy is 5x and Zomato is 10x. Amazon is also 5x with their cappings.
