Hello, I have recently requested to close my Federal bank Celesta and Wave (Rupay) card and asked bank to provide NOC. To which they had closed the card but for NOC they had mentioned that I need to wait for 45 days to request for NOC (snapshot of response below). Is this correct? Any recent experience from anyone?

I doubt, because everytime I got NOC almost instantly or within a day or two max (SBI, AXIS, IDFC, Karur Vysa & Capital Float, HDFC in my cases). NOC is something which acts as a proof that the bank doesn't have any objection in any form be it with pending payment or anything and the card is closed is successfully without any objection.
Within 45 days the bank is expected to mark the credit account as closed in Cibil, Experian, etc.
