Query on Vistara Gold status on VI CC Closure

Hi Team,
Has anybody closed Axis Vistara Infinite card recently ? I just want to know if Vistara Gold membership (complimentary on VI) continues till it's validity date , even though we cancel VI card (or Vistara Gold will be terminated once we cancel VI card )

Not after you complete one year of issuance. As once you cancel the card, they wont renew your Gold status.

My query is more about the current membership itself which provided by paying joining fee ( I aware that renewal wont happen as I dont pay renewal fee of card, as it would be already in cancelled state)

From Vistara customer care:

We wish to inform you, upon the cancellation of the credit card, the tier will automatically be downgraded on the next tier renewal date.
Likewise, you would not credited with further benefits included in the offer such as flight voucher, upgrade vouchers etc. if any.
However, you would still be able to redeem the vouchers already credited.
