Hi guys, I need a small help regarding air india miles I wanted to book tickets for my parents using miles ,I can see the sufficient miles but when I select 4 adults its selecting only 1 passenger while booking , is this allows only 1 passengers for booking or need to call customer care for booking

There are various restrictions on booking rewards flights with Air India India Maharaja club.

First of all, you need to complete two paid flights on Air India and these should have been tagged with your member ID. Secondly, you need to create a family pool by adding other family members. The members to be added need their own Maharaja Club accounts and these accounts must be at least 2 years old. Then, you need to email Air India to add them to the family pool and they need to provide their consent. Then and only then, you can book reward flights for them

I'm able to book reward flights for my friend without any loyalty account.

Probably thats because 1 award seat left in that flight, try other dates or other time.

I checked with 2+2 as well ,all combinations in fact it seems something changed

Any issue with booking one after other? You want all on same PNR?

That's not the case now, I booked 2 Ticket using voucher & 3 Tickets using miles. I personally Never booked any flight tickets Air india Tickets via cash as i find better deals on third party websites..

Problem is I see most of the flights on 9th feb has only 1or 2 seats available

Tried contacting customer care they seems no idea,and arranged a call back tomorrow from ff team seems they are busy now

I have tried individual bookings now four times with 4 Pnr's

I am talking from personal experience--

To activate a new Air India miles membership (for friends and family bookings using miles), you 1st need to book 2 different PNR full cash REVENUE flights in your name on the Air India app (no one else can fly)
You have to be on those 2 flights , you cannot miss them.
I recommend booking a flight to the cheapest place near your hometown and the second flight to return to your hometown.
You have to book two one way tickets (two different PNR), not one return ticket.

After completing those 2 revenue flights you will get some points automatically credited in a few days, (which will show in your Air India app) and then your membership is automatically activated for friends and family bookings.
There is no need to create a pool.

This is a problem of the Maharaja app.
Use the desktop website and it should work
