Query regarding kotak cc bill payment

Good evening.
I apologize if I have posted in the wrong forum, as I am new to this. Also, please overlook any mistakes in my english writing.
My cc statement was generated on 15th april, showing a due amount of ₹1500.94. On the same day, I made a transaction of ₹300.
The next day i.e 16th april, I had made payment of ₹1800 to credit card. Now I see remaining outstanding as -₹299.06. Why is amount the negative? Could it be because I paid 300 more than due amount as per statement?

The negative outstanding balance is due to the unsettled transaction from the 15th. There is no need to worry.

300 is your extra outstanding . You can take it back in bank via customer care or use it & make it zero .
