In continuation to above thread.... Pno has agreed to provide me ltf moneyback plus...

we have taken up for an appropriate review and we are willing to upgrade your card to money back plus card as lifetime free card basis smartpay registration else will be first year free card . From second year onwards, if you spend Rs. 50,000.00 within previous 12 months, the renewal fees will be waived off else Rs.500 membership fee will be applicable.


Now what is this smartpay registration... And which bills can be paid from it and till when... We have to pay to make the card ltf....?? If we remove smartpay after sometime card will not be ltf...???

Smart pay is HDFC's bill payment platform.

The card will remain LTF until it's enrolled for smartpay.

Once you remove it, it will again become chargeable.

Instead ask them for spend based LTF consideration.
Else 50k in a year isn't a very big amount, you can always keep trying for LTF even after a year.

Wow, they told me wait for 6 months, I have mailed 3times already.

I don't think I have enough negotiation left..... Thry already listened to me enough... I will do a electricity bill registration... I pay 4 bill on my own.... Not a issue for me...

There are instances on forum where card remained ltf even after smartpay was removed.

Keep it there for month or two and check with customer care for LTF status without mentioning smart pay
