I had purchased jewellery from tanishq worth ~10L, paid through RTGS.

They asked for my pan card & retain a copy with them.

When I asked what the reason they said as per RBI guidelines we need the pan of person purchasing jewelleries above 2L

Want to ask will that reflecting my AIS ?& Is there chances IT may inquire for the same?

it not new, they will take you pan card stating any reason. Observing this after demonetization.
Any shop will ask PAN card even if we buy jewellery worth 10k and use our credit/debit card, or paying 50K+ using cash.

in recent past, we went to repair a chain (400rs job), and they said we have to submit PAN card, validate identity via OTP, else they wont do it - as per RBI guideline.

all gold are being profiled against its owners, will be used/exploited in future.

No such RBI Guidelines. They probably want to use your details for their other settlements 😅😂
