Query: Reward Points if Google/Samung NFC used

I have been using multiple CCs but I planning to use Google nfc on my new phone(or samsung because I heard google wallet has bugs).

Does my credit cards reward structure remain same because I heard that my card info doesn't get shared because of security and merchant doesn't get my real card number ?

Is google wallet acting like a payment gateway (if yes then I don't think I will get any reward on wallet transaction)?
