Question regarding SBI Air India Signature Card

Hello Guys,

I have a somewhat strange question:

As SBI Air India Signature card is eligible for 10% points when booking for friends and family, is that also applicable when booking one way flights from abroad to India?

Those flights are charged in the forex of that country, not in INR so I doubt those carry the same MCC as Air India's INR payments. Has anybody got this clarification from either experience or from SBI CS?

MCC code has nothing to do with currency and is decided by business category. Go thru bindassss
