[Rant] Why do banks do not show receiver account no in statement (or somewhere)

Even though I don't know why bank statements don't include account number and IFSC code, I know that Axis provides details of individual NEFT transfers including account number and IFSC code and other details.

I'd probably send the other perwon who needs a proof, a video of me logging into my Axis mobile app, going through the process of seeing the history of the transaction.

We can download each such transaction detail.

Not sure how much it could help.

Similarly, whenever I send money by account number and IFSC code via Axis UPI (within the app), it retains the history that includes account number and IFSC code, just like NEFT with downloadable receipt in image form.

This is the closest thing I found.

It still doesn't answer the original post.
Kotak does too, the app has more details than any statement of PDFs

I have looked at multiple banks including SBI. @hender I think the screenshot you shared only appears right after payment. I couldn't find a way to download the receipt post-payment, do let me know if that's incorrect as I might have missed something.

@Mr. Bean , that's pretty close to what I am looking for. A receipt that shows receiver's A/C and IFSC is more than enough. However I won't touch Axis unless I am 100% sure no other bank does it.

I did check Yesbank net-banking and I can download receipts for most transactions (interbank) but I couldn't download a receipt for low value TXNs without beneficiary and intrabank transfers. Can someone check their Yesbank netbanking and confirm? Yesbank receipts are the most detailed I have seen and I could download receipts for 2 year old Txns.

@Kushagra_ I checked kotak mobile app and don't see the A/C No and IFSC details in transaction details, can you share a screenshot?

Edit: Yesbank has a section to download receipts for all online transactions initiated via netbanking (not mobile app) containing all possible details. I mean it's better than nothing. All I have to do is send money via net banking that's all.

So Axis and YesBank are the only banks with this feature so far...
