Received an email from ICICI that a new CC is issued. But I had never applied for anything.

I am actually very worried on this. I have reached out to ICICI Twitter and am waiting for their response.
I have a savings account in ICICI & also have Amazon ICICI CC LTF and an ICICI Sapphiro CC LTF.

Just a few minutes back, I received an email from ICICI stating "Dispatched: Your ICICI Bank Credit Card Newly issued status". Now the thing is I never applied for this card. Infact I have not applied for anything, anywhere in ICICI. Below is the mail and the account number that they have mentioned is not my savings account number. What is that supposed to mean?

May be they reissued your ICICI Sapphiro as a precautionary measure.

I think ICICI is sending revised cards for some considering recent data leak. They had also released some press release. I don't remember when. If you have iMobile you should be able see the new card already.

I just checked in my iMobile. Both my Sapphiro (Master Card as well as AmEx) have new card numbers now. Looks like Sapphiro is re issued. Why are they doing this? And why is there no communication with the customers regarding this? And are they issuing dual similar as before?

Why? - Guess your card data is compromised and they are trying to resolve it.
No communication - as said above they did some press release - you also might have got some mail. If not you might ask to CC or mail them asking for clarification.
