Huge fraud in Credit limit increase and upgrade request

⚠️ Beware of New Credit Card Fraud! ⚠️
Fraudsters are posing as representatives from IndusInd Bank's credit card team to scam people.
I recently received a call from a regular mobile number. The caller introduced himself as a manager from IndusInd Bank's credit card department. He confirmed my mother’s name and then asked if I was facing any issues using my IndusInd Legend Card. When I said no, he offered to increase my credit limit as part of a "pre-approved offer" and mentioned that I would receive a confirmation call from their backend team.
Since I am aware that banks only call from official recorded lines, I immediately suspected fraud. I played along and even asked for an IndusInd EazyDiner Signature card as a lifetime free offer to test them further 🤣 and also asked i want pioneer legacy also so he started to explain me sir main to apply kardu but aapke cibil pe affect hoga aur phir problem hogi ashe was not aware we are more active than him🤣
Within five minutes, I received another call from a different person, speaking very politely. He tried to convince me again and then sent me an APK file via WhatsApp, asking me to install it to process my credit limit increase,and after that for testing asked to say my address as very well aware that bank knows our address but these person said "Sir vo ye app install karoge na to appko address miljaega"then this confirmed that it was a scam.
When I confronted him and told him I would report the numbers and recordings to the police, he started abusing me and threatening me, saying I would "face consequences" for exposing him. As soon as I mentioned that I was sitting with the police commissioner, he hung up the call.

🔹 Warning to everyone:
- Please dont pick up these type of calls from banks. Banks only call from official recorded numbers.
- Never install unknown APK files or apps sent via WhatsApp.
- Its request that please dont fall for just a sake of card upgrade,as seen many people to fall in this trap!!
