Received HDFC Swiggy Card, gets permanently blocked 3 days later for non-payment of dues

Jai ho HDFC.

I used it twice, worked fine. 2 days later it gets blocked. Customer support kept saying that it's temporary blocked by risk team. Today they say collections team blocked due to non-payment of dues.

What dues?! It's been 3 days! No bill, no intimation, nothing!

I have already mailed priority redressal because customer support is helpless. They told me to contact collections team and they kept me on hold for 15 minutes.

Might have to reach out to Ombudsman if my credit report gets affected.

Even customer service is confused. They don't understand how it got blocked but they are asking me to apply again. Escalating this issue now.

Their CHENNAI CC Office must be the culprit - as usual and as expected.

Most ill organized n ill equipped setup I ever saw/experienced in my 43 years of banking experience.

Sad to see this set up continue despite so many complaints against their abysmally low standards. Absolutely unfit to do the job.
