Recieved SBI CC rejection msg without applying

I did not even apply then how did I apply and got rejected.

Maybe you have applied a long time ago.
I also had similar experience.
SBI recently faced some kind of technical glitch in their system. I got multiple mails and sms during September for the application from March. I reached SBI card team via twitter, after that i recieved a call from them explaining the reason.
