Reg icici charging amount for debit card upgrade without consent

Hi Team

ICICI executives had called and said to my friend that he is eligible for debit card upgrade and he said he doesn't need upgrade

However icici executive proceeded with the upgrade and they have charged 1000 for the same.

How to raise complaint and get the refund?

I am initially asked my friend to send mail to this I'd and is there any nodal officer for debit card?

Can we raise ombuds complaint as well in RBI?

To my knowledge, debit card upgrade cannot be done by branch in ICICI Bank. You have to order in app or net banking or customer care

It seems he had got call and he never gave his consent but the customer care person has upgraded
 
Your friend might have agreed unknowingly as the customer care call records can checked easily by ICICI. You can always dispute by calling them followed by email, twitter

I am sure this can be sorted out over a call with ICICI customer care. If it doesn't work out then complaint to PNO. If it still doesn't work then you can approach RBIO.

Ya sure as of now complaint has been raised via customer care and also decided not to activate the card
