Regading card upgrade

I have an IDFC Classic card that I've been using for the past four months and that has a maximum of 71,200.
How do I upgrade this card to Select or determine whether I am eligible for Weath Cad?
I already have a 2.2L LIMIT Amazon icici card.
So I need assistance with this.

For wealth card you need atleast 5-6L limit on another card. So that's not possible.

And for Select card it depends on your relation with bank. Otherwise generally atleast 3L limit is required to get select card.

I think you currently have best possible card from IDFC.

Yeah you'll easily get select if not wealth with this credit limit.

But beware some ppl didn't even got option for Millenia after closing and reapplying for select/wealth🤣 whereas some ppl were successful doing this way.

No they don't upgrade. You have to cancel and reapply via C2C.

1)if i cancel today, how long shall i wait for reapply
2) i should try with new mobile no.
3) this is my oldest credit card. will it affect cibil badly or may be 5 to 10 points.

if you cancel today
you can reapply tomorrow using different number
