regalia rupay international lounge problem

I recently tried using the HDFC Business regalia rupay card (alongwith add on card) at a domestic lounge. The card worked flawlessly.

The problem arose while trying to utilize it at the international lounge. The card lounge website shows Kathmandu international airport lounge as accessible but the rupay card was not accepted on the lounge?

HDFC has mentioned on the website that Rupay cards do not require Priority pass. The lounge had access for priority pass, dragonpass and Loungekey.

Did I do something wrong or is this is a known problem with Rupay credit cards?

Have you checked the Dreamfolks Website/app whether the lounge is showing or not if showing get the QR generated and use it directly in the lounge for entry. I also faced the issue recently while swiping my card it got rejected but I was eligible for the lounge access better to use the QR like me the lounge agent was saying to other passengers hdfc is not accepted.

Isn’t rupay cards associated with diners/priority pass network? I thought switching on the international transactions and swiping the CC directly will be enough

No, if the card has international lounge benefit, Dreamfolks works too.

International transaction need to be switched on for lounge access. Did you enable international transactions from card settings?
