Regarding Conversion to LTF

Actually my father holds a Sbi prime credit card. And its annual fees are 3000+540=3540
with not much benefits.Can i ask customer care to Convert it into ltf
If yes ..how should i proceed .

If they decline should he continue using this card because fees is not a problem but its not providing its worth.Should we change it to another sbi card .Please guide.

main purpose - Normal payments , hotel bookings , Flight bookings and Mostly should have lounge access .atleast 2 per quarter.

Apply for SBI cashback card which is less fees than this prime card. And SBI never give LTF. Only spend based waiver

Better file a card closure request and cite reason as fees. If the card had a decent spending history they might reverse the fees if not conversion to LTF.
