Regarding overlimit

Actually i have Kotak credit card with 10000 limit , And i need to make a purchase of Rs 20000 from Amazon ,as there is a discount running on kotak credit cards, So can i make a prepayment of 10000 extra and then the limit will be 20000 , then i can make the purchase ???
Please guide me through this if anyone have done this before.

You can not, this will incur overlimit charges. And I doubt transaction of 200% of CL can be done. Even with overlimit facilities

Your credit limit is also your per transaction limit. So, If your credit limit is 10k then you can use 10k per transaction then repay and use 10k again.
