Hi Guys
I hold two BOB Cards - Select and HPCL Energie. The HPCL Energie was expired in October, and they sent a new/renewal card by Indiapost, which was undelivered - marked as insufficient address. I could not pick it up manually at the post office as well. Tried emailing them and there was no response.
Now it's been more than 2 months that the card is undelivered. BOB just replied recently that they shredded the card as it was not activated within 30 days as per regulatory reasons.
I was already frustrated with the BOB services and wanted to close the cc, and was unable close it on email 2-3 years back as they did not respond back.
What happens in this scenario - is the card closed permanently and would it show in credit breaures like cibil/experian as closed in few days as they claim the card is shredded and so on?
