Rent or education fee payment option for hdfc infinia and Amex platinum travel

Hi,
I want to know best options to pay rent and education fee from HDFC INFINIA and AMEX platinum travel cc ? From last month HDFC has stopped reward points on education fee and also charging 1% extra so what is best option now to use credit card for these payment?

If you are paying education fee directly from school website etc then no charges are there for Infinia card and you will get rewards too

And what about rent, what are the options now to pay rent from credit card with some additional reward or at leat with minimal charges.
