Hi,
Since I opened hdfc savings max preferred account in July 23, just because to avail 1% cashback on cc bill payment via hdfc billpay on easyshop platinum debit card.
Now recently hdfc was giving pre-approved cc -moneyback+ with some amazon vouchers 2k as welcome benefit.
I saw somewhere on hdfc website that rent transactions are free for the first txn of the month, but couldn't find the list of eligible credit cards for this.
Haa anyone tried rent payment with hdfc moneyback+ credit card?
Just wanted to confirm this details if I pay rent with the hdfc moneyback+ cc...
1. No additional rent transaction fee levied from bank side ?
2. No standard reward/cash points for rent payment - this is clear confirmed by them in the t&c doc , so no rewards for rent
3. Milestone benefit of 500 rs voucher on total 50k transaction in calendar quarter-- is rent payment considered for this milestone of 50k? If yes, then there is 1% reward rate here..
4. I saw in one thread we can't pay hdfc cc bill on their bill portal. So anyway I can still get 1% cashback thru easyshop platinum debit card?
Overall, I would go for rent payment via cc even if there is no total net profit, as it will help on improving banking relationship and credit history, but only concern is there shouldn't be net loss via cc.
