Reposting as somone flagged the Salesforce link (site . com) shared by the bank in the previous thread

I decided to close my IDFC Wealth account after a series of bad experiences.

Here are a few things that I discovered:

- unlike most banks in India, branch visit is not necessary

- account was closed with an online link (salesforce site. com) shared by the bank

- entered beneficiary account was verified for funds transfer by NEFT

- the entire process took less than 5 minutes

Truly incredible

if only the products from the bank were as incredible

I am particularly disaapointed with the massive devaluation of its Wealth Credit card (especially fee for add-on card for its 'super premium' card without metal or gold)

Sounds amazing. Axes too provides in app (not tested myself)

More banks should bring online account closure options.
