Requested BOB for card upgrade, they did CIBIL enquiry but replied that they only consider requests after 12 months.

I requested BOB for card upgrade (Premier to Eterna) on 25 April and on 26 they replied that they will not consider any request before 12 months. However, they did a CIBIL enquiry on 26. I just saw that enquiry on onescore today.

Is it common? Or I can ask them to now upgrade or remove the enquiry?

PS: I sent them salary slips, bank statement, and upgrade form.

Yes. It's nearly impossible to make BOB upgrade/convert your card within the first year of issuance.

Better email them and ask to remove the enquiry as that was unnecessary.
